Handmade with high quality raw honey pink dragon agate Baltic amber beads. The string is knotted by hand in between each and every bead, so should the anklet / bracelet / necklace break (which it should if necessary), the rest of the beads will not scatter.

The string is also knotted before each clasp fastening so no beads should come off.

They are fastened with a plastic screw barrel clasp that is designed to break if pulled. It also opens and closes easily.

Each bead is rounded so that they lay comfortably against the child’s skin. This allows maximum contact and gives added comfort to you and your child.

*Dragon agates have an enhanced colour as they are naturally white / grey. While every care is taken to remove the excess colour before beading, some colour transfer may occur in hot or sweaty conditions. Please remove and soak in very warm water for 20 mins and air dry if this occurs.

EU Toy safety regulations EN-71-1 states that necklaces and anklets are not suitable to use as toys for children under 36 months.
Please do not allow your children to play with or chew on them.
Children over 36 months are to wear under adult supervision.
When not being worn, keep out of reach of children.

Safety Information
Amber jewellery is made for wearing but not for chewing
If chewed, hit or stood on amber will shatter.
Take care not to subject it to harsh conditions.
Beware of cheap imitations as real amber is not cheap.
• Wear at all times but remove for swimming and bathing.
• Detergents and perfumes will damage the item.
• Wear under a sock and do not allow to be pulled.
• Amber is soft so keep stored in the natural fabric bag to stop it getting scratched.
• Necklaces should be removed from the neck when the child sleeps or is unattended.
• Necklaces can be worn on the ankle. This is done by double-wrapping the necklace around the ankle, and placing a sock over the foot to keep the necklace stationary and warm.

Our Jewellery incorporate the following safety features
• Necklaces need to be short enough so as not to hang down and get caught. Leave a two finger gap between the tape and neck.
• They are threaded on cotton which will break if caught on something or pulled.
• There is a knot between each bead so that if it breaks the beads remain intact and in most cases will not scatter.
• The beads are rounded and polished so that no sharp edges remain.
• The beads are not toxic.
• Our amber has been tested to EN71-3:2013 and passed so it does not contain dangerous chemicals or nickel.
• We have the test certificate with our company name on it to prove this as we had to pay for these expensive tests
• Do now allow the amber to be chewed. Amber is a resin and will shatter under pressure. Cracked beads could be inhaled and become dangerous.

For your full peace of mind we offer a 365 day return policy.
Please Ensure you enclose a detailed note and a £1 for postage.
Use a first class large letter stamp.
Defective items are replaced for free.

If you wish to exchange due to a measuring error, please enclose your PayPal email or postal order for so we can invoice you for the price difference. Larger sizes cost slightly more.

Use a secure padded envelope. Non padded envelopes have arrived here empty.
We cannot be liable for loss or damage in the post due to inadequate packaging.
Consumers have the right to cancel purchases from 7 days of Receipt and this must be put in writing.

Measuring for a Necklace
Measure in centimetres leaving a 2 finger gap between the neck and the tape.
Ensure it is not too long as they can get it over their chin and into the mouth.
If it is too tight it could be uncomfortable and pose a risk.

We sell necklaces from 28cm up to 40cm for children and 40cm – 70cm for adults.

Ensure the fit is snug and not too loose as it will roll over the ankle and fall off. If it is too tight as it will become uncomfortable.

Measure the child in the standing position to ensure the ankles can flex correctly with comfort when walking.
Measure in centimetres using a measuring tape or a piece of string and a ruler.

You should be able to get the tip of your finger under the tape.

Please note, children between 3 and 5 years old should wear as an anklet and not a bracelet.
